I was really hoping for a bright blue as described, but got more of a turquoise-greenish. It went on nice, but not my cup of tea.
This gorgeous color peaks in 3 (or even 4 if you paint on thin) coats. The blue shimmer has kind of a duochrome effect where it looks either navy and cool toned, or warmer like a rich persian blue, depending on the angle and the light. It`s mesmerizing and sparkly and so classy. It`s a grown-up, sophisticated color. Easier to wear than a lot of the really bright electric blue shades. This is my absolute favorite blue of all time.
It definitely takes three coats but it`s one of my favorite colors. It has a very dark base with fine microglitter but you can`t really tell unless you look up close. Otherwise it`s just this stunning, glistening gem-like color.
This color is darker than appearing in the picture. I do enjoy the polish, but I don`t enjoy the consistency. It took 4 coats to be opaque, took longer than usual to dry, and chipped within a day. All of these are very uncharacteristic for Zoya polishes. I will continue to wear this, just as a top coat over a more opaque blue.
I painted this over my nails when I`d put Akyra on them and it looked spectacular. It`s so watery I can`t envision wearing it by itself, there`s just no opacity at all, but the blue shimmer is spectacular. I got admitted to hospital for about a week and was wearing this and got so many compliments on my fingers. Never chipped with Armor on top and looked beautiful. If you want a blue shimmer to purpose as a topcoat, this is definitely the one!
This color is gorgeous! Definitely needs 3 coats, but if you`re willing to put in the effort, you will be rewarded with it`s beauty. For me the swatches on this site match it in real life pretty well, except it looks better in person since the camera won`t pick up on all the shimmer. It is such a gorgeous, royal blue!
I love this color. Buyer beware that it doesn`t look exactly like the pictures. I describe it as a sparkly denim. It is a 3/2 on the opaqueness scale. Definitely more than one coat is needed. I`m fine with two but have done 3 if I have time.
The swatches on the website appear lighter than the actual color when applied (probably because of the black base), but not as dark as Indigo, or Ibiza. It took 3 coats to appear opaque. A pretty navy-ish shimmery blue. Received many compliments.
