Instead of being a chocolate color (as I thought the swatch appeared to be), I would describe the color as more of a time-worn penny. My initial disappointment gave way to pleasant surprise though, as I realized Cheryl is lovely in its own right.
As a bonus, I found that with some careful scrubbing with polish remover in the right places you can reveal more of the copper undertones, creating an interesting steampunk-esque effect.

I love this color Cheryl!! I bought it on a promotion and the fact it was my name helped too. I had so many compliments and it is so rich looking. My zoya rep in my salon didn`t even know about this color but she does now.

This is a beautiful and rich color. It has a deep brown base and some burgandy flecks. I have a fair skin tone and it looks great on me. Good color for fall and winter. Definitely one of my favorite Zoya colors!

I ordered Cheryl because I loved how it looked on the color spoon. Once I ordered the bottle and tried it on, I think I actually like it best with just one coat, when it looks like a light, sparkling, golden-coppery brown. Two coats and it becomes very dark, but pretty much like the description says: a jeweled brown. Also, it has a very interesting effect of looking different depending on what you are wearing. Example: When I was wearing black and greys this morning, my nails looked mostly chocolate brown with copper sparkle, but when I put on purple pajamas just now they suddenly look really burgundy! Very cool...
