Instead of being a chocolate color (as I thought the swatch appeared to be), I would describe the color as more of a time-worn penny. My initial disappointment gave way to pleasant surprise though, as I realized Cheryl is lovely in its own right.
As a bonus, I found that with some careful scrubbing with polish remover in the right places you can reveal more of the copper undertones, creating an interesting steampunk-esque effect.
